会議がしにくい、スタッフ同士の意思疎通ができにくいという問題が出てきました。

そこで、本社事務所、倉庫をショールームに移転しよう。
というプロジェクトが始まりました。

100年以上続く工場で、戦後は独楽を中心に作成。主に、九州県内のミズキ材、ケヤキ材、ヒノキ材、ブナ材、クルミ材、クス材など、
塗料は、自然塗料のリボスやオスモカラーを、使用しております。

庚申窯。
福岡県福智町にある窯元。
1600年ころに起源をもつ上野焼(あがのやき)は、”緑青(ろくしょう)流し”と言われる 透明釉、
もしくは白釉の上に緑色の銅釉が流れたものが挙げられます。
この緑青流しは古くから上野焼で焼かれてきた訳ではなく、小笠原時代に釉薬の精製が発達し、

内容は、ベッドのスノコがフレームの金具に当たって入らないというもの。

お話を聞くと、すのこの幅があと1・2ミリ短ければすんなり入ったとのこと。

上の写真の通り、すのことフレームの間はほとんど隙間が無いように作っています。

問題となるのは、木材の湿度による膨張と収縮です。
木は木材になっても生きていて、塗装などで塞いでない木材は、
湿気を吸ったり吐いたりします。

湿度が高いときは室内の湿気を吸い込み、
湿度が低いときは木材から湿気を放出し、
これで室内の湿度を調整してくれるのです。

通常、家具は十分に乾燥させて作成します。
木が収縮しているときに作成するわけです。

ですが、今の時期(梅雨時期など)になると、
木材が湿気を吸収し膨張したりします。

これは、無垢材のフローリングをご使用の方は実感いただけるのではないでしょうか。

特に、すのこに使われる桐材は、湿度が高い時期に
湿気がタンスの中に入らないよう膨張するので、密閉度が高まりやすい。
という特徴で着物タンスに重宝されています。

今回のケースは、乾燥時期に制作したスノコが
梅雨の湿気で膨張し、1・2ミリ膨らんで入らなくなったのだと思います。
お客様には新しいすのこを制作しお送りすることにしました。

今後はこういうことも想定した制作が必要だと工場と確認し、
次回生産からの参考にさせていただくようにします。

グラッソ98壁面収納の上置きとのジョイントの件ですが、
ダボと言う木のクイのようなものと、コの字金具でジョイントされております。
取り外しは可能な状態ですので、引っ越しの際は取り外せます。
地震対策としては、やはり壁に固定をお勧めいたしますが、
上置きの隙間なくダンボール等挟み込まれた方が、なお良いかと思います。
ご参考になされてください。
